Privacy Notice
We respect your privacy. This notice explains how we handle the details you share when you contact us or make an enquiry.
Who we are
Serene Companions provides companionship and practical social support for older adults. We are responsible for the personal information you share with us when you make an enquiry.
What we collect
When you call us or complete our enquiry form, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, your relationship to the person who may receive support, and general details about the companionship they would like.
Please only share what is needed for a first conversation. We do not need detailed medical information to respond to an enquiry.
How we use it
We use your details only to respond to your enquiry, arrange a free consultation, and plan suitable companionship visits if you choose to go ahead.
We never sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.
Our enquiry form
Our online enquiry form is provided by Jotform, a secure third-party form service. Information you submit is stored by Jotform on our behalf and is only accessed by the Serene Companions team.
Who we share it with
We keep your information confidential. We only share it where you have agreed, or where we are required to by law or need to act to protect someone's safety and wellbeing.
How long we keep it
If you do not go ahead with our services, we delete enquiry details within 12 months. If you do, we keep records only for as long as needed to provide support and meet our legal obligations.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent at any time. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
